Bunaken National Park Is Touted As The World's Most Beautiful Marine Park

As one of the excellent tourism cities of Manado (North Sulawesi provincial capital), Bunaken National Park is touted as the world's most beautiful marine park. 

Bunaken Marine Park is famous for its extensive coral reef formations and beautiful. As nature conservation areas or national parks in Indonesia, Bunaken Marine Park dive sites are often used by domestic tourists and foreign tourists.

Most of the 12 point dive in Bunaken Island lined up from the southeast to the northwest of the island. In this region there are great underwater walls, also called the hanging walls, or walls of the giant rock that stands vertically and curved upward. The wall rock is also a food source for fish in the waters around Bunaken Island.

How to reach the location can be achieved through the Port of Manado by motorboat to the island Siladen. While the Blue Banter Marina, the location can be achieved by using a yacht that is available to the tourist area on Bunaken Island in the distance of about 10-15 minutes. 

While the Port of NDC (Nusantara Diving Center) in District Molas, dive sites in Bunaken Island can be reached by speed boat in about 20 minutes. The best visiting season is a month from May to August each year.

Bunaken Marine Park is representative of Indonesian tropical water ecosystems consisting of mangrove ecosystems, seagrass beds, coral reefs, and terrestrial or coastal ecosystems. 

In the north of the island of Bunaken, Manado Tua Island, island Montehage, Siladen island, the island of Nain, Nain Small island, and some coastal areas of Cape Pisok. While the southern Cape coast includes some Coconut.

Potential land islands in the national park are rich in palm, sago, woka, silar, and coconut species. Animal species that live on the mainland and the coast, Sulawesi black macaques and deer.

This vegetation type that grows in mangroves National Park is rich with various kinds of crab, shrimp, mollusks, and sea birds such as gulls, herons, sea virgin, and cangak sea.

Recorded at least 13 coral species live in the waters of Bunaken National Park, with the dominant type of fringing reefs and coral reef barrier. The most interesting is the vertical cliffs that extend as far as 25-50 meters.

Approximately 91 species of fish are found in the waters of Bunaken National Park. Among the most famous horses are fish gusumi, OCI white, yellowtail lolosi, and goropa. Some tourists say that Bunaken is an "Amazing Paradise in the World!
